Add-on: e-procurement interface

B2B orders radically simplified

Enabling your customers to order seamlessly from your ERP or merchandise management system in your predefined catalogue – what sounds so uncomplicated is also quite simple in practice: thanks to a PunchOut connection.

A PunchOut connection generally refers to the “jump” from the ERP or e-procurement system to a procurement platform. Generated shopping carts can be transferred from a third-party system to your own ERP system.

With ITscope, you can manage several PunchOut catalogues for one or more customers uniformly via one interface. Regardless of which procurement system and which interface your customer uses: you are optimally prepared for all requirements.

Seamless Order Management with PunchOut catalogs and personal customer portal

Your customers want a PunchOut integration for the e-procurement system?
Our personal customer portal, the B2B Shop, can be directly connected to market-leading systems such as SAP, SAP Ariba, Onventis, Coupa or Jaggaer and supports exchange formats such as cXML & OCI.

This allows you to offer your existing customers a fully-fledged e-procurement portal from a single source, with multi-vendor capability and release and electronic ordering processes. This saves all parties a lot of time and at the same time increases customer loyalty – and your trade turnover.

How does the process of connecting to procurement systems of industrial customers work in practice?

If the customer portal (B2B Shop) is connected to the SAP Ariba system of the industrial customer via PunchOut, the customer can process orders directly from their own system. To do this, he logs into the portal directly from SAP Ariba via PunchOut, fills the shopping cart, which is then automatically transferred to SAP Ariba and generates an order in the customer system. Via the B2B Shop, the order can then be forwarded electronically to distribution or transferred as an order to the customer’s own ERP system.

Advantages with PunchOut

It’s simply a huge advantage that ITscope not only has comprehensive expertise regarding its own product but also a deep understanding of the external systems used by our customers. Without this expertise, the integration, for example, of SAP Ariba, probably wouldn’t have gone as smoothly.
