Karlsruhe, October 13, 2026 – Product interest on ITscope increased significantly in the third quarter of 2026, with clicks rising by 18.5% compared to the same quarter last year. Smartphones, graphics cards, and memory products saw particularly strong growth. A comparison with order data reveals very different trends: While smartphone orders also increased significantly in terms of units sold, growth in graphics cards and memory products was primarily driven by higher order values.
Smartphone Clicks Nearly Double
The top 100 mobile phones received approximately 97% more clicks in the third quarter than in the same period last year, reaching the highest level in the available comparison data. Apple claimed the top four positions in the product ranking with the iPhone 16e, iPhone 17, iPhone 17e, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. However, Samsung products attracted the most clicks across the ranking as a whole.
Orders also increased significantly: The number of mobile phones ordered through ITscope rose by approximately 63% year over year, while order volume increased by around 82%.
“The surge in smartphone interest isn’t driven by a single bestseller. Interest is spread across a wide range of models, showing that the entire category has gained considerably more attention,” says Dr. Oliver Charles, Managing Director at ITscope.
Memory: Strong Interest and a Sharp Rise in Order Volume
Interest in memory products also remained well above last year’s levels. The top 100 memory modules recorded 74% more clicks than in Q3/2025, while SSD clicks increased by approximately 58%.
However, order quantities tell a different story: The number of memory modules ordered fell by around 31% compared to the same quarter last year, while order volume more than quadrupled. For SSDs, the number of units ordered remained virtually unchanged, while order volume nearly doubled.
“Memory products in particular demonstrate why unit sales alone currently tell only part of the story. Companies are spending significantly more than they did a year ago for a similar or even smaller number of products,” Charles explains.
Graphics Cards: High-End Models Attract Attention
Activity in the graphics card category increased sharply on ITscope in the third quarter. The top 100 products received approximately 64% more clicks than in the same quarter last year. Exceptionally expensive models topped the ranking, including the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5090 Gaming OC, with an average reseller purchase price of around €4,800, and the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition, with an average reseller purchase price of approximately €15,000. More than half of all clicks went to graphics cards with a purchase price of €2,000 or more.
While the number of units ordered remained virtually unchanged compared to Q3/2025, order volume nearly tripled.
“Premium high-end models attract a great deal of attention, even if they are only ordered occasionally. The most-clicked products aren’t necessarily the most-purchased,” Charles notes.
