Reinforcement for ITscope’s management team: Dr Oliver Charles joins ITscope

ITscope streng­thens its lea­der­ship team with an expe­ri­en­ced indus­try expert, set­ting the cour­se for the next pha­se of development.

ITscope GmbH is rein­for­cing its manage­ment team: as of 1 June, Dr Oliver Charles has joi­n­ed ITscope as Managing Director. With his exten­si­ve expe­ri­ence in digi­tal busi­ness models, he will sup­port the stra­te­gic deve­lo­p­ment of the com­pa­ny along­side co-founder Benjamin Mund.

Oliver Charles brings over 15 years of expe­ri­ence in the digi­tal and e‑commerce sec­tor, most recent­ly as Chief Solutions Officer and part of the manage­ment team at OXID eSales AG.

I see gre­at poten­ti­al in fur­ther expan­ding ITscope as a cen­tral dri­ver for digi­ta­li­sa­ti­on and growth in the indus­try – and I look for­ward to mee­ting many of our cus­to­mers in per­son at the ITscope FutureWork Expo in Karlsruhe on 4 June.”

Benjamin Mund, who foun­ded ITscope in 2003 tog­e­ther with Alexander Münkel and Stefan Reger, wel­co­mes the appoint­ment of Oliver Charles as an important step for­ward: “After more than two deca­des of inten­si­ve deve­lo­p­ment work, the time is right for ITscope to bring new per­spec­ti­ves into the lea­der­ship team. System hou­ses, resel­lers, dis­tri­bu­tors, and manu­fac­tu­r­ers compa­re, pro­cu­re, and sell ICT pro­ducts digi­tal­ly via ITscope. The cloud-based plat­form offers over 7 mil­li­on items from more than 350 sup­pli­ers and sup­ports e‑procurement as well as e‑commerce through indi­vi­du­al­ly con­fi­gura­ble B2B shops. Interfaces to ERP sys­tems, e‑procurement, and shop inte­gra­ti­ons enable seam­less incor­po­ra­ti­on of busi­ness pro­ces­ses into exis­ting IT systems.
