The ITscope Market Barometer for Q2/2025 shows sus­tained high demand in the ITK chan­nel. Click‑through rates on the plat­form for IT resel­lers are again abo­ve last year’s levels. In par­ti­cu­lar, demand was strong for mid‑range com­ple­te sys­tems, busi­ness note­books and soft­ware solutions.

Oliver Gorges, Director Marketing & Sales at ITscope GmbH sin­ce 2023, will be lea­ving the com­pa­ny at the end of July 2025. Gorges has been acti­ve in the indus­try sin­ce 2013 with cop soft­ware, befo­re the com­pa­ny beca­me part of ITscope. Over the past years, he has play­ed a key role in sha­ping ITscope’s public pro­fi­le within the ICT sector.

ITscope and bb-net have ente­red into a stra­te­gic part­ner­ship: bb-net, one of the lea­ding pro­vi­ders of pro­fes­sio­nal IT refur­bish­ment solu­ti­ons, is now lis­ted as a dis­tri­bu­tor on the ITscope plat­form. This col­la­bo­ra­ti­on expands the oppor­tu­ni­ties for sys­tem hou­ses and resel­lers to inte­gra­te sus­tainable IT pro­cu­re­ment into their busi­ness models.

On June 4, 2025, the “Alter Schlachthof” crea­ti­ve park in Karlsruhe beca­me the mee­ting point for the ICT indus­try. The ITscope FutureWork Expo brought tog­e­ther sys­tem hou­ses, spe­cia­list retail­ers, dis­tri­bu­tors, and manufacturers.

ITscope streng­thens its lea­der­ship team with an expe­ri­en­ced indus­try expert, set­ting the cour­se for the next pha­se of deve­lo­p­ment. ITscope GmbH is rein­for­cing its manage­ment team: as of 1 June, Dr Oliver Charles has joi­n­ed ITscope as Managing Director. With his exten­si­ve expe­ri­ence in digi­tal busi­ness models, he will sup­port the stra­te­gic deve­lo­p­ment of the com­pa­ny along­side co-founder Benjamin Mund.

After more than two deca­des, an era in the ICT chan­nel is coming to an end: cop agent will be dis­con­tin­ued on 30 November 2025. The soft­ware, which ser­ved many sys­tem hou­ses and ICT resel­lers as a relia­ble tool for pro­cu­re­ment and pro­duct rese­arch, will be ful­ly repla­ced by the ITscope plat­form in the future.

ITscope and topi are laun­ching a part­ner­ship that offers sys­tem hou­ses a fle­xi­ble and sus­tainable way to lea­se IT hard­ware to their end cus­to­mers via a Device-as-a-Service model. The digi­tal ren­tal plat­form topi is inte­gra­ted into ITscope’s B2B shop solu­ti­on, enab­ling simp­le and effi­ci­ent pro­ces­sing of cus­to­mer orders. 

What’s caus­ing a stir in the IT indus­try even befo­re it’s available? The ans­wer: a gra­phics card like the RTX 5090. Apple, too, once again demons­tra­tes the power of its brand – whe­ther it’s the iPad, MacBook Pro, Mac mini or the new iPhone 16^e: The Apple logo domi­na­tes the high­fly­er list in Q1 2025, though even an under­dog from Alphacool made it into the top 10.

Karlsruhe, 26 February 2025 – ITscope is expan­ding its plat­form offe­ring with a Refurbished Portal, pro­vi­ding sys­tem hou­ses with direct access to pro­fes­sio­nal­ly refur­bis­hed IT hard­ware. The new purcha­sing envi­ron­ment ensu­res grea­ter trans­pa­ren­cy and effi­ci­en­cy in tra­ding refur­bis­hed devices – an important con­tri­bu­ti­on to sus­tainable IT procurement.

The German ICT mar­ket con­ti­nues to grow despi­te eco­no­mic uncer­tain­ties: According to the digi­tal asso­cia­ti­on Bitkom, reve­nues are expec­ted to increase by 4.6% in 2025, rea­ching €232.8 bil­li­on. ITscope also reflects a sta­ble chan­nel with con­sis­t­ent­ly high demand in the cate­go­ries of note­books, pro­ces­sors, and soft­ware applications.
