Do you sell to business customers in the United States or the United Kingdom? If so, you’ve likely heard the question: “Can we view prices in our local currency?” Now you can. The ITscope B2B Shop now lets you display product prices in additional currencies, such as US dollars (USD), British pounds (GBP), Swiss francs (CHF), or Japanese yen (JPY). Important: ITscope does not automatically convert prices. Instead, you upload your pricing directly in the desired currency – giving you full control.

Set the currency, upload your price lists – and you're done

Activating this new feature is simple. Just upload your prices in the desired currency, for example as a separate CSV price list or corresponding product file. Then, in the portal settings under ‘Customer group’, define which currency should be displayed for that group – for instance, USD or GBP. This setting applies across the entire customer portal, including order forms and sales documents. The currency display is independent of your pricing strategy, which you can still configure separately if needed.

Your customer has branches in Europe, Asia, and North America? No problem. With the new currency feature in the ITscope B2B Shop, you can create a dedicated customer portal for each region – each with pricing in the appropriate local currency. While the central purchasing team maintains full oversight, local teams see prices in euros, dollars, francs, pounds, or yen – whichever they’re most familiar with. And because the solution runs entirely within your existing ITscope environment, there’s no need for additional tools or interfaces – keeping processes lean and efficient.

“An essential feature for closer customer relationships”

“Many ITscope resellers work with customers who have international locations – especially in the United States and the UK,” says Jeremia Klaiber-Balkan, Product Manager at ITscope. “We developed this feature in direct response to user requests. The goal: to align price displays more closely with customer expectations – without complex conversions or third-party tools.”
For system integrators managing international clients or locations, this is a straightforward all-in-one solution – eliminating the need for complicated special agreements with individual customers.
