The ITscope market barometer is based on ITscope GmbH’s own analysis.

Business customers rely on proven workhorses
“We continue to see increasing interest in everyday, high‑performance business hardware,” comments Benjamin Mund, CEO of ITscope, on the platform’s data. By far the most popular product on ITscope in the second quarter was the Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 2, with nearly 17,000 clicks. The most‑clicked complete systems were also in the mid‑price segment – for example the HP Pro 400 G9 with Intel i5‑13500T or the Lenovo M70s with i5‑13400T.
This positive development in the PC segment is consistent with broader market trends: analysts from IDC forecast approximately 4 % global growth in the PC sector for 2025, supported by impending Windows 11 migrations in enterprises and the first market influences from AI‑enabled hardware platforms. However, traditional CPU architectures still dominate the B2B market. Early platforms with integrated AI capabilities, such as Intel Core Ultra, AMD Ryzen AI and Snapdragon X Elite, are now emerging. “We are monitoring developments in AI‑accelerated platforms,” says Benjamin Mund. “With new use‑case scenarios, demand can shift rapidly.”
Software remains a strong growth driver
A key driver of current software demand is the upcoming end of support for Windows 10 on 14 October 2025. Although Microsoft now offers several extended security options, the official date is already creating pressure to act in many enterprises: “Windows 10 is still deeply embedded in many IT environments – but with the announced end of support, migrating to Windows 11 now becomes mandatory,” explains Benjamin Mund, CEO of ITscope.
Alongside Windows 11 Pro, Windows Server 2025 and Microsoft Office Home and Business are also among the most‑clicked software solutions on ITscope, indicating strong interest in up‑to‑date, locally installable versions as an alternative to cloud‑based licensing models.
Mobile phones: recovery in demand continues
The mobile phone segment continues to show stable demand in 2025. A standout is the new Apple iPhone 16e, the most successful new product of the quarter. According to Bitkom, Germany’s smartphone market will reach over €40 billion in sales in 2025 – a new record – and the platform data on ITscope confirms this trend in the B2B environment. “AI features and longer usage cycles also encourage buying readiness among corporate customers,” concludes Benjamin Mund.
Highflyers Q2/2025: The most‑sought‑after IT new products in the channel

The evaluation is based on click‑throughs by ITscope users and crowns the most‑clicked new product in each category from the past six months. System houses, resellers and specialist dealers thus gain insights into current trends, technological stimuli and purchasing behaviour in the B2B ITK market.

1st Place: Apple iPhone 16e – Category: Mobile phones
With 6,052 clicks, the Apple iPhone 16e leads clearly in the mobile phone category. Positioned as a business‑capable mid‑range option, it offers a 6.1‑inch OLED display, a 48 MP camera and Apple’s own 5G modem—solid features at a relatively affordable introductory price. According to Computerbild, the 16e delivers strong performance (grade 1.4), particularly praised for battery life, connectivity and processor.

2nd Place: Apple iPad A16 Wi‑Fi – Category: Tablet‑PCs
Despite its relatively unremarkable update, the Apple iPad A16 Wi‑Fi remains the most popular tablet on ITscope. In Q2, the 128 GB variant ranked highest. The tablet combines a 10.9‑inch display with good performance and is aimed at users seeking a reliable device for everyday work. Chip praises its performance and build quality, though notes that true innovation compared to its predecessor is lacking.

3rd Place: MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32G GAMING TRIO OC – Category: Graphics cards
The MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC is the most‑clicked new graphics card on ITscope – and with good reason. It’s the spearhead of Nvidia’s new Blackwell generation, delivering a massive performance uplift over the RTX 4090 – but at a hefty WSP of €2,300+, significantly higher than previous top models. In PCMasters’ test, the RTX 5090 impresses with up to 47 % more 4K gaming performance and around 33 % faster ray‑tracing. Technically, it offers everything currently possible: 21,760 CUDA cores, 32 GB GDDR7 memory on a 512‑bit bus, and up to 575 W TGP. Although officially launched in February, it only became available on ITscope in May.

4th Place: Apple MacBook Air M4 – Category: Notebooks
Compact, light and powerful: the MacBook Air with M4 chip is the most popular new notebook on ITscope. In Golem’s review, its improved battery life, support for two external monitors, and reduced entry price (WSP from €830) are highlighted. With 16 GB RAM as standard and solid per‑core performance, it is well suited for everyday to moderately demanding tasks. Criticism centres on modest improvements compared to the M2 generation – if one already owns a recent Air, upgrading isn’t strictly necessary.

5th Place: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D – Category: CPUs
With 16 Zen 5 cores and AMD’s 3D V‑Cache technology, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D sets new standards and is the most‑clicked new CPU on ITscope. According to Hardwareluxx, the processor shows consistently strong performance in multi‑threaded applications. In professional environments – such as rendering, data analysis or CAD – its extra power potential is especially noticeable. However, its high energy demand necessitates suitable cooling and power supply.

6th Place: Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Lite – Category: Network devices
The UniFi U7 Lite introduces Wi‑Fi 7 to Ubiquiti’s affordable portfolio and ranks sixth among the most‑clicked new products on ITscope. The access point supports dual‑band (2.4 and 5 GHz), 2×2 MIMO and features such as preamble puncturing and multi‑link operation (MLO), enabling concurrent connections across multiple bands. Unlike its more expensive counterparts, it lacks the 6 GHz band, but retains many Wi‑Fi 7 advantages. According to Caschys Blog, the U7 Lite is PoE‑powered and connected via 2.5 GbE – ideal for small to mid‑sized business environments with modern networking setups.

7th Place: Dell Pro 27 Plus P2725DE – Category: TFTs
The Dell P2725DE is the most‑popular new monitor and achieved 745 clicks in Q2. This 27‑inch QHD display with 100 Hz is well‑suited to office use and features USB‑C Power Delivery, HDMI, DisplayPort and a built‑in USB hub. Its IPS panel offers brightness levels around 350 cd/m², and the average WSP is approximately €260.

Apple 20W Power Adapter – Category: Chargers
The Apple USB‑C 20 W power adapter, newly listed in March 2025, ranks among the most‑clicked chargers on ITscope. It is designed as separate accessories for iPhones and iPads, which no longer include a power adapter. This model provides basic USB‑C power at 20 W—sufficient for everyday use, but outdated for larger devices or multi‑port fast charging. In a recent comparison test by Computerbild, the Apple adapter ranked lower: it supports only one charging standard, lacks extra features, and is relatively expensive for its output.

9th Place: Lenovo ThinkCentre M75q Gen 2 – Category: PC systems
As a compact complete system with an AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 5655GE, the Lenovo ThinkCentre M75q Gen 2 leads the PC newcomers list on ITscope. The mini‑PC is ideal for classic office workloads as a space‑efficient workstation. The complete system comes with Windows 11 Pro, 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD at an average WSP of approximately €534.

10th Place: Samsung 9100 PRO SSD – Category: SSDs
With the 9100 PRO, Samsung introduces its first PCIe‑5.0 SSD to the consumer market. The 1 TB model is the most‑clicked newcomer in the SSD category. In benchmarks, it impresses with very high transfer rates and strong everyday performance, according to PC Games Hardware. PC‑Magazin awards the SSD a grade of 1.3: it operates efficiently and stays below 55 °C under load with passive cooling. It is priced at a WSP of around €130—above PCIe‑4.0 models.
