Karlsruhe, 19.10.2023 \u2013 The third quar\u00adter of 2023 brought a series of gloo\u00admy reports from mar\u00adket rese\u00adarch insti\u00adtu\u00adtes and the press: bleak fore\u00adcasts for the sale of PCs and desk\u00adtop moni\u00adtors, the end of Fujitsu\u2019s cli\u00adent busi\u00adness, and finan\u00adcial los\u00adses for Samsung and AMD. In this mar\u00adket baro\u00adme\u00adter, we ana\u00adly\u00adze how the\u00adse inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal trends are reflec\u00adted on the ITscope plat\u00adform and, con\u00adse\u00adquent\u00adly, in the B2B busi\u00adness in the DACH region.<\/p>\n

Recently, Context pre\u00addic\u00adted a tough year for the glo\u00adbal moni\u00adtor mar\u00adket. A look at the pro\u00adduct clicks on ITscope con\u00adfirms that the hype around TFT screens seems to be over. The inte\u00adrest in the top 100 moni\u00adtors on ITscope signi\u00adfi\u00adcant\u00adly decreased in the third quar\u00adter of 2023. \u201cThe pre\u00advious wave of purcha\u00adses was dri\u00adven by the tran\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adon to home and hybrid offices. Their stu\u00addy<\/a> on the reve\u00adnue growth of desk\u00adtop moni\u00adtors in three regi\u00adons sug\u00adgests an uncer\u00adtain and unsta\u00adble future. A clo\u00adser look at the ITscope ana\u00adly\u00adsis con\u00adfirms that the cra\u00adze for TFT screens has come to an end. While clicks in the second quar\u00adter of 2023 were simi\u00adlar to the pre\u00advious year, inte\u00adrest in the top 100 moni\u00adtors on ITscope signi\u00adfi\u00adcant\u00adly decli\u00adned in the third quar\u00adter. The obvious assump\u00adti\u00adon is that with the wide\u00adspread return to the office, the\u00adre is less demand for home office hard\u00adware. \u201cThe last major wave of purcha\u00adses was dri\u00adven by the switch to home and hybrid offices. Now, com\u00adpa\u00adnies are uti\u00adli\u00adzing the devices they alre\u00ada\u00addy have,\u201d com\u00admen\u00adted ITscope CEO Benjamin Mund. \u201cThere is curr\u00adent\u00adly litt\u00adle reason to upgrade to newer models. Notebooks: What does the future hold for the Microsoft Surface series?<\/h3><\/div>

With note\u00adbooks, the\u00adre is still no way around the Lenovo ThinkPad L15 Gen 3 21C3<\/a> past, it remains by far the most popu\u00adlar pro\u00adduct in the cate\u00adgo\u00adry with 4,662 clicks.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, two up-and-comers from Dell are the Dell Latitude 3540 \u2013 Intel Core i5 1335U<\/a> note\u00adbook and the slight\u00adly more powerful Dell Latitude 5540 \u2013 Intel Core i7 1365U<\/a> model. PC-systems: International Trend in a Weakened Form<\/h3><\/div>

While Gartner, the mar\u00adket rese\u00adarch insti\u00adtu\u00adte, repor\u00adted decli\u00adning sales figu\u00adres<\/a> for the glo\u00adbal PC mar\u00adket, the decli\u00adne was less pro\u00adno\u00adun\u00adced in the German B2B mar\u00adket. The ITscope ana\u00adly\u00adsis of the top 100 most popu\u00adlar PC sys\u00adtems com\u00adpared to the pre\u00advious year shows that the inte\u00adrest in PCs is lower in Germany com\u00adpared to the pre\u00advious year, alt\u00adhough the decli\u00adne is less pro\u00adno\u00adun\u00adced than inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal\u00adly. Gartner\u2019s ana\u00adlysts pre\u00addict that the bot\u00adtom has been rea\u00adched and that the busi\u00adness will pick up again next year. On ITscope, the click num\u00adbers have also increased slight\u00adly in the last quar\u00adter, despi\u00adte the sum\u00admer lull and holi\u00addays. The best new ent\u00adry in the cate\u00adgo\u00adry, coming in at #4, is the ThinkCentre M70q Gen 3<\/a> <\/a>by Lenovo \u2013 howe\u00adver, the pro\u00adduct does not offer any real inno\u00adva\u00adti\u00adon, as it mere\u00adly replaces the pre\u00adde\u00adces\u00adsor model<\/a>, which made it to 6th<\/sup> place in our top list. The ThinkStation P360 30FA<\/a> has also clim\u00adbed signi\u00adfi\u00adcant\u00adly in the ITscope top list, from 162nd<\/sup> to 17th<\/sup> place.<\/p>\n
